Lets be honest… therapy can be difficult. But, feeling stuck, agitated, depressed, anxious or angry can be worse. My bias is that everybody could benefit from psychotherapy, if they give it a chance. My goal is to de-mystify therapy and bring it down to earth. Sometimes we all just need a little help. Sometimes we need a lot of help.
I see people who are going through changes that affect their mood, relationships, home and/or work life. Often, people don’t even know where to start when they want to make a change. Sometimes its even hard for them to describe how they are feeling. Here’s the thing, you don’t need to have all of the answers before you come in for psychotherapy. You don’t even need to know what the problem is. So many people come in for therapy feeling lost and confused. We can figure it out together. Part of my job is to help you navigate difficult feelings, thoughts and confusion. Then we can try and understand how to help you feel better.
